Handycam/Jittercam

Here's a camera with a slider that controls the amount of jitter. Simulates a hand held camera.

Here is the jittercam. This camera comes in handy when you need to add a natural hand held camera look. It would also work to simulate the camera flying through turbulence, or the view from inside a car thats rolling over some bumpy terrain.

There is a slider on the camera which controls the amount of transform jitter. I decided not to add a rotational jitter effect because I think it will be too herky-jerky.

If you are using Max 6 you must run the AttributeHolder script (maxscript/run script/pluginscripts/Modifier-AttributeHolder.ms)

You can copy the script into my maxscript/startup directory as well, so it runs every time I start max.

You can test it by selecting the camera, 'playing' the viewport, and adjusting the slider.

If you already have a cam keyed, you can copy/paste the keys to the jittercam, and add the jitter. You can ease in/out of the jitter by editing the in/out of the keys for the slider (on the cam)

This was created in Max 6, and works with Max 7 as well.
